Know more about Electric Road

“The energy transition of mobility is not limited to the efforts made by vehicle manufacturers. It also implies the transformation of everything surrounding vehicles, on the streets and on the roads, to facilitate the transport of citizens without constraints and without nuisances.
Today, manufacturers have played the game, but from employment to infrastructure, the challenges remain.

Electromobility will generate its own ecosystem that needs to be invented. The charging stations are a crucial step until the day when the electric range will have found other sources.

The roads of tomorrow will have to meet new requirements, as they are energy-efficient, clean, automated and safe. This implies the coordination and complementarity of many professions that were not yet working together : energy, digital, computer science, civil engineering, highways, and builders of all the «mobility tools». All in close contact with national and regional administrations, not to mention the European level. The upstream does the job, but it waits for the downstream. And the task is huge.”
